The mission of the Detroit Eastern Market Farm Stand program is to improve neighborhood and partner site's access to fresh and healthy food while serving as ambassadors of the Eastern Market Corporation. The Farm Stands aim to strengthen the connection between residents and growers by presenting Eastern Market's bounty of fresh food at convenient locations.

Through partnerships with over 15 community groups, healthcare organizations, and neighborhood markets, the Farm Stands seek to increase resident and participant engagement around healthy eating choices in order to enhance the culture of wellness in the City of Detroit and throughout Southeast Michigan.
